Recently, Mila K gave Feline Tattoo Studio a makeover by painting their shutters in three fantastic cat-themed designs.
The makeover looks fantastic and fits in well with the name of the tattoo studio.
Pictured here are the two window shutters, the third piece, which was painted on the shutters of the door, unfortunately not pictured.

Last month, Sheffield’s very own artist and local legend Pete McKee took his first dip into the street art world by painting a large mural version of his piece ‘The Snog’.
The piece is located on the side of Fagan’s pub and is a lovely addition to the landscape of Sheffield’s city centre by one of the most well-known artists in the city.

Recently, Sheffield street artist Clem Alice ( AKA George Green) sadly passed away. His unique style was loved and always wonderful to see in person.
Public Offender Zine has created an 18 page commemorative zine titled ‘Long Live Clem’ looking back at the life of the wonderful artist.
The zines are £4 each and absolutely all proceeds from the sale of them will go to the charity Great Ormond Street Hospital - Hearts for Kids. This wonderful charity was a great help to George during his life and is the perfect choice for the funds to be donated to.
You can buy the zine and therefore donate £4 to GOSH by visiting this page.

Last week, Faunagraphic undertook the biggest paint she has ever done in her hometown of Sheffield.
Commissioned by Marketing Sheffield, she set to work on a 32 foot high and 22 foot wide portrait of Harry Brearley, the man who invented stainless steel, in order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his creation.Faunagraphic started this huge project on the 30th April and continued, with help from friends and relatives, for the next four days until it’s completion on the 3rd May.
These images show the work in various stages throughout the four days she spent painting it.

Phlegm seems to have returned to painting in Sheffield regularly as of late.
This piece, entitled ‘Fossils’, is painted only a few weeks after his Millennium Gallery commissioned piece.
Created near Sheffield’s sewer system, the location matches the theme of the painting perfectly.
Hopefully there’ll be lots more to come from Phlegm in his hometown in the coming weeks.

Recently, Bubba 2000 put up a new stencil piece and I was lucky enough to stumble across him and capture some photos of him in action. The piece looks fantastic in its finished form, the location is brilliant and hopefully there’ll be alot more from Bubba to put on the site in the near future as his work reaches new levels.

Decided to revisit an area I haven’t been to for a while recently. The area changes so often and it’s interesting seeing the new pieces that pop up over time. Since my last update of this area, every piece has been painted over and changed, allowing for a completely new set of images this time.Expect another update of this area in the future, especially considering a new piece by Skint has already appeared since I took these images.

Bubba 2000 is a stencil artist who has some fantastic work and doesn’t get featured on this page anywhere near as much as he should.Recently, he’s pasted up quite a large selection of new work around the Ecclesall Road area and I have decided to feature as many of these as I can. Many have either been removed or damaged in some way but these four images are some of his latest that have stayed intact and can still be viewed now.
Hopefully many other new paste-ups will appear in the near future as I’m sure they will so expect updates for this artist in the future.

Today marks a year since I published the first post on this blog.

I’d like to thank everybody for the continued support, I’m shocked the page has been as popular as it has, so huge thank you for that.

Also, a huge thanks to all of the artists and their brilliant skills too.

Hope you all continue to enjoy the site and that the next year brings a great selection of new and amazing artwork from Sheffield that I can feature on here.

There was a brand new piece by Phlegm painted in Sheffield recently.
The piece is painted on the inside of the Millennium Gallery on Arundel Gate and has replaced the Kid Acne pattern that has been there since he opened his ‘Kill Your Darlings’ exhibition over a year ago.
It’s fantastic to see a new piece there and hopefully this marks the beginning of a regular rotation of new pieces by different artists commissioned by the gallery for the same spot.SheffieldStreetArt on TumblrSheffieldStreetArt on TwitterSheffieldStreetArt on InstagramSheffield Street Art & Graffiti - Facebook Any questions or suggestions? - Email them to sheffieldstreetart@gmail.com

There’s been quite a huge amount of new activity in this particular abandoned building on the edge of town as of late.
This update is a selection of the new pieces that have appeared here.
Adding to the recent work that coLor performed at the site is his piece ‘Cabin Fever Reliever’, located just left of his recent collaboration with Narke that was posted recently. In addition to this, a new trademark egg piece appeared at the same time.
Just right of coLor and Narke’s collaboration is a new piece by Eugene and next to that, the first of two new pieces by Kid Acne, this piece being painted using his Edna name.
Recently, two pieces by xHaStexo have also been painted, one of which can be seen here. These two pieces mark one of the first times the artist has painted wall pieces and hopefully there are many more painted around soon.
The main attraction painted in this location recently however is the new tribute piece by Kid Acne. The piece is a tribute to Okie Dulo, a local legend who recently passed away and also marks, along with the Edna piece also seen here, one of the first times for around half a year that Kid Acne has painted in Sheffield.

Apologies for the gap in updates recently.

A large update of new work including pieces by Kid Acne, coLor and xHaStexo will be uploaded within the next week.

In the mean time, why not follow SheffieldStreetArt on Instagram for more frequent (albeit lower quality) updates and a sneak peek at the pieces to be uploaded.

Just search for @sheffieldstreetart in your Instagram app or click ‘follow’ at this link.

Sheffield Street Art

This is a blog dedicated to the fantastic work of street artists from the Sheffield area of the UK.

I moved to Sheffield in South Yorkshire to attend university almost two years ago and the one thing that instantly blew me away about the city was the vast amount of street art that has been painted around.

I have spent many days literally walking around aimlessly just searching for new stuff and almost every time I notice something completely brand new. The feeling of finding a new, or even old, piece of street art is fantastic and this blog was created with the intention of documenting as much of it as I can.

The majority of the images that I post are my own work but of course, as Sheffield is a large area I may also use images from artists websites or other graffiti enthusiasts for more “out of the way” pieces. I will always credit the images when I do this. However, if a photo posted here belongs to you and you do not want it to be showcased on this blog, send me a message and I will be perfectly happy to take it down.

There is also the option for any other street art enthusiasts from Sheffield who may be viewing this blog to upload your own images, providing that particular piece hasn’t been featured already. If you have a piece that currently hasn’t been posted, feel free to submit it providing it conforms with the submission guidelines that can be found on the ‘Submit’ page at the top of the page.

Sheffield Street Art also has a Twitter and Instagram account. If you would like updates on when new pieces will be posted or exclusive images that won’t be posted elsewhere, feel free to follow.

If you have any queries or suggestions about the site or would like any questions about the art featured answered, please email sheffieldstreetart@gmail.com.

I hope that anybody who visits, whether from Sheffield or elsewhere, enjoys this blog and the fantastic art that will be posted onto it.
